Graves County Commercial Lending Team

At the heart of CFSB's Graves County Banking Center is the Graves Commercial Lending Team: a young team with experience, passion, and love for their community. Led by homegrown Graves County High School graduate, Matt Scoggins, the entire team desires to see their Graves clients succeed. Commercial Lenders Kane McCord and Cole Arnel both bring a wealth of knowledge in Ag banking, the core of Graves Commercial Lending and this community. Scoggins says that he looks forward to building relationships with individuals, businesses and farmers throughout the county.

When asked about what makes this team special, Matt stated that they will offer a level of client service that's hard to find elsewhere. Wherever you will find a place to be involved and in the thick of it with the people of Graves County, you will find this CFSB team. Matt wants you to know that he and his team will be involved in their community through lending, community events, and anywhere else that they can be of service.

Below are short bios to help you get to know your Commercial Lending folks!

Market President Matt Scoggins has been with CFSB since August of 2018. Matt is a graduate of Graves County High School's class of 2007, and he serves on the board for Graves County Economic Development. He is also a graduate of the Leadership Mayfield Class of 2021. He is a leader who cares deeply about the future of Graves County and is excited to be a part of that development.

Kane McCord is a Commercial Lender and has been a team member with CFSB since 2019. Another homegrown Graves Countian, Kane is a 2015 graduate of Mayfield High School, and he got his Bachelor's of Science in Business from Western Kentucky University in 2019. Kane also worked for the USDA Farm Service Agency as a Farm Loan Officer, so he is a go-to for Ag-related business and is an asset for  the FSA Process.

Cole Arnel started with CFSB in 2022, making him the newest member of the team. However, Cole came to this Graves team with over seven years of community banking experience. A massive advocate for West Kentucky's rural counties, Cole is a farmer, outdoorsman, and active member in local civic organizations. He is a board member of both the Ballard County Chamber and the West Kentucky Regional Chamber Alliance, as well as a recent graduate of the WAVE Leadership Class of 2022.

Stephanie Hays is one of the two Commercial Admin Assistants vital to this team's synergy. Stephanie, a Murray native, started with CFSB in 2019 and brought with her over twenty years of experience in owning a small family business. As a result, she understands firsthand the challenges that her clients and businesses face in today's changing economy.

Shari Smith is also a Commercial Admin Assistant, helping our commercial team stay organized and successful. Shari has been with CFSB since 2018, and comes with over fourteen years of experience in banking as a Commercial Admin Assistant. Shari lives in Kuttawa with her husband and dogs.

Lastly, Amy Flint currently serves at CFSB Graves County as the Business Development Officer.  She has been with CFSB for 5 years and has a total of 26 years of total banking experience.  Amy is a 1996 graduate of Graves County High School and stays very involved in the Graves County community.  Amy currently serves on the Mayfield Graves County Chamber of Commerce Board, is highly involved with the Mayfield Independent and Graves County school systems, and volunteers with the LINKS Program and Get Fit Coalition Team.  Amy has been married to her husband Chris for 24 years and they have two sons, Aydan and Ashton.

What else does Matt and his team want the people of Graves to know?

"As a native of Graves County," Matt states, "I want to see this place thrive like never before.  I have a deep love for this community, and we will do everything we can to help rebuild and grow our town and our county.  At the end of the day, it's the people of Graves County that make this a special place, and I couldn't be more proud to be a part of it. The people of Graves are resilient like no other, and this lending team is ready to run along side them and give them the tools to help them succeed."

If you are ready to see how our Graves County Commercial Lending Team can help you achieve your goals, please do not hesitate to reach out. Matt and his team look forward to hearing from you!
