Community Financial Services, Inc. Announces 40% Increase in Annual Shareholder Dividend

Community Financial Services, Inc. (CFS), the holding company for Community Financial Services Bank (CFSB), has announced a cash dividend of $1.75 per share for 2026, representing a 40% increase over the company's dividend of $1.25 per share in 2025.
Approved by the company's Board of Directors, the dividend was payable October 15, 2026, to shareholders of record as of September 15, 2026. The approximately $1.4 million dividend reflects CFSB's continued financial strength and commitment to delivering meaningful value to its shareholders.
"Following our record dividend last year, we are proud to continue building on that milestone with a significant increase in 2026," said Michael Radcliffe, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of CFS & CFSB. "Our financial performance, strong capital position and the dedication of our team members have positioned us to reward our shareholders while continuing to invest in the future of our bank and the communities we serve."
Preliminary financial results through September 30, 2026, indicate that CFSB continues to perform well, with earnings slightly ahead of budget and past-due loans remaining at less than half the level reported by similar banks in Kentucky. The bank also maintains a strong capital base.
In addition to the dividend, the company purchased approximately $2.7 million in shares from shareholders during the year, bringing the total amount returned to shareholders in 2026 to approximately $4.1 million.
The company's financial strength also supports continued investment in Western Kentucky. In November, CFSB plans to break ground on two new banking centers in McCracken County, located in Lone Oak and West McCracken. These new facilities represent a significant investment in the Paducah market and will expand access to CFSB's locally focused banking services for families and businesses.
CFSB's success is further reflected in its nationally recognized workplace culture. In 2026, the bank earned the No. 5 ranking on Fortune's Best Medium Workplaces list and No. 2 among small and medium companies on Fortune's Best Workplaces in Financial Services & Insurance list.
"Our shareholders have placed their confidence in our organization, and we take that responsibility seriously," added Radcliffe. "We remain focused on building a strong, independent community bank that creates long-term value for our shareholders, meaningful opportunities for our team members and a lasting impact across the communities we call home."
