Community Financial Services Bank (CFSB) is proud to announce its partnership as a Founding Corporate Sponsor of Sprocket, strengthening a shared commitment to advancing entrepreneurship, supporting small businesses, and creating long-term economic momentum across Western Kentucky.
As part of the partnership, CFSB will play an active role in supporting Sprocket’s entrepreneurial ecosystem through mentorship, business education, strategic programming, and engagement opportunities designed to help startups, entrepreneurs, and existing businesses grow and thrive.
The collaboration aligns closely with CFSB’s new CREATE campaign, a new long-term initiative centered on creating growth, creating opportunity, and creating what matters most for the communities the bank serves in Western Kentucky. Through this partnership, CFSB will work alongside Sprocket in their service to growing the local business landscape by investing not only in financial resources, but also in relationships, knowledge-sharing, and accessible support systems for entrepreneurs at every stage.
“Strong communities are created when people are willing to invest in ideas, in relationships, and in the future of local business,” said Jennifer McIntosh, Business Development Officer for CFSB in McCracken County. “Our partnership with Sprocket reflects the heart behind our CREATE initiative and our vision points at CFSB. We believe in showing up for our communities in meaningful ways, and that includes helping entrepreneurs and small business owners access the support, mentorship, and connections they need to succeed. When local businesses grow, our entire region grows with them.”
One of the key components of the partnership includes Seth Helton joining Sprocket’s mentor network, providing guidance and support to entrepreneurs and small business leaders navigating growth, financing, and operational strategy. Helton will also participate in one of the first formal partnerships, Sprocket’s Entrepreneur Through Acquisition (ETA) programming, an initiative focused on helping aspiring entrepreneurs acquire and grow existing businesses throughout the region.
Additionally, CFSB and Sprocket plan to collaborate on educational content and resources aimed at helping business owners better understand financial strategies, business development opportunities, and the tools available to help them succeed in an increasingly competitive environment.
CFSB also hopes this partnership serves as a catalyst for broader community involvement in supporting entrepreneurship and small business development. By investing in organizations like Sprocket, CFSB believes meaningful progress can happen when businesses, community leaders, educators, and organizations come together around a shared vision for economic growth and innovation.
Sprocket Executive Director, Monica Bilak, said "Community Financial Services Bank recognizes that entrepreneurship doesn’t grow in isolation. It grows through relationships, trust, mentorship, and access to opportunity. Their investment in Sprocket is really an investment in the future of West Kentucky’s economy. Together, we’re building a stronger pipeline for entrepreneurs, helping existing businesses grow, and creating the kind of connected innovation ecosystem that keeps talent here and attracts new ideas to our region.”
“Sprocket is creating meaningful opportunities for entrepreneurs and future business leaders, and we are excited to come alongside that mission in a way that helps create lasting impact for our region,” added CFSB McCracken County Market President Angela Meyer.
