CFSB Presents First-Ever Racer Drone Show at Murray State University on April 17

Community Financial Services Bank (CFSB) is proud to present the first-ever Racer Drone Show at Murray State University on Friday, April 17, 2026. It will be an exciting, family-friendly experience set to cap off a full day of spring Racer athletics.
The evening will feature a packed lineup of games, beginning with a Racer softball doubleheader at 2:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m against Indiana State., followed by Racer Baseball taking on Illinois State University at 5:00 p.m. at Johnny Reagan Field. The drone show will take place immediately following the conclusion of the baseball game.
Originally planned for Murray State’s Homecoming festivities last fall, the drone show was postponed due to weather. This rescheduled event now marks the inaugural Racer Drone Show, bringing an innovative, high-energy visual experience to the skies over campus for the first time.
This year’s show is designed as a celebration of spring sports at Murray State, highlighting both Racer softball and baseball while honoring the dedication, achievements, and impact of student-athletes. The evening reflects the pride of hometown teams and the community’s continued support of everything they accomplish on and off the field.
This event is just one-way CFSB focuses on investing in experiences that enhance quality of life across the region, creating opportunities for families, fans, and communities to come together in meaningful and memorable ways.
“We’ve been looking forward to bringing this show to our community, and we’re excited to finally make it happen in a way that celebrates both our university and our student-athletes,” said Dana Howard, Director of Marketing at CFSB. “At CFSB, we are intentional about supporting initiatives that go beyond traditional sponsorships, creating unique partnerships and experiences that bring people together in Western Kentucky.”
In addition to the evening’s entertainment, CFSB will enhance the fan experience with a special giveaway. Beginning at 4:30 p.m., the first 1,000 guests who visit the Big CENT, CFSB’s branded community engagement truck, located between the softball and baseball fields, will receive a complimentary picnic blanket, perfect for enjoying the games and staying for the drone show.
The drone show will feature a choreographed aerial display using hundreds of synchronized drones to create dynamic images and animations in the night sky, celebrating Murray State, its traditions, and the spirit of Racer Nation.
The event is free and open to the public. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early, enjoy the games, and stay for the show.
